Not all who wander

I have a card for you using VivaLasVegaStamps.

I started out with watercolor paper and 3 colors of green distress inks. I smooched it on my craft mat and added some water to blend the colors. I started with the lightest color and worked my way to the darkest. I dried in-between the colors so they could layer.

Next, I grabbed a Tim Holtz dot stencil and added it the background with the darkest green ink to add a layer.

Next, I stamped the Butterfly Specimens in the middle of the panel with black ink. I then stamped Victorian Flourish with the same dark green ink. I only used a corner of the stamp. After that I then stamped Waybill background in brown distress ink randomly over the whole panel. I only used the top part of this stamp.

To finish it off I edged it in drown distress ink and on top of that I added a layer of black distress ink. Lastly, I stamped Not all who wander saying on white cardstock and layered it on black cardstock and stuck in in the middle of the card.

Stamps Used:

Butterfly Specimens

Victorian Flourish

Waybill background

Not all who wander

Other supplies used:

watercolor paper

distress ink

amalgam ink

white cardstock

black cardstock

Last of the warm days

Hello, today I have a journal page using Fox and Found Studio collage sheets.

Sheets Used:

1950 bathers

Butterfly scrap

Travel ticket

Map circles

I started by painting the background with a light purple and giving it a gray wash in the middle. I then took a stencil and some off white and put it in 3 spots on the journal page. Set aside to dry.

I then cut out some tickets from Travel ticket and a circle from the Map circles and made a cluster and glued them down.

Next, I cut out a butterfly from Butterfly scrap and a lady from the 1950 bathers and glued the wings on the back of the lady. I then glued them into my journal.
Lastly, I added some green and gold dots to her bathing suit.

Great things take time

Hello, all I'm here with a card for you using Lost Coast stamps.
Stamps Used:
I started off making this background for the background challenge, but I didn't know what to do with it, so I set it aside. I used the new distress color to make the background, I splashed some water on it to lighten the color.
I stamped the dragon fly from the Bugz set  on white paper and painted the wings with the new distress shimmer sprays in green and I just used distress ink for the body in purple. I also splattered some of the shimmer spray on the background. You kinda see it.
Lasty, I added a saying sticker to it.

Come join the fun and show us your wings here.

This was a fun one to make. I took the Antique document tape strips and glued them down with collage medium and then I used distress crayons to add color to the background.

Bits and pieces

 Good Morning all.

Stamps used:
For today I don't have a finished piece per say. I have some bits and pieces that will make a great start for a card, journal or anything you can think of.

For the first photo I have to tags that I have done. I started with some distress ink spray. I picked 2 blues and 1 green for colors. When I was happy with the color I grabbed a distress oxide ink pad and added some ink to the tag.
Next I stamped numbers border down the side of the tag. I had the face stamped out already from the ATC face set and I added that to half of the tag. The other tag I stamped a butterfly from the butterflies set off the side of that tag. I then added some bits of field notes tid bits .

These are my next bits. They are place cards. I thought they look like extra large tickets. So I cut them in half so you get 2 for 1 out of them. I stared off by making a mask to go around the border. I then randomly stamped pieces of calligraphybugz setbutterflies setmini crowns setnumbers bordersmall tree crownATC misc. set 6 all over the cards. I then took off the mask and edged them with a red copic marker. Lastly I added some field note tid bits to them.

Some close ups

I hope you will join the numbers challenge here

Day 14 of the 31 days of Halloween challenge

Day 14 of the 31 days of Halloween challenge from Lost Coast Blog.

This card was fun to do. I inked  the phrenology head  from the ATC faces set and wiped off the numbers in the head. You still can see some of them but very faintly. I then colored it with Copic markers in a skin tone, but as I was cutting him out I had a little pointy piece of paper and it gave my the idea for a vampire head so I then colored over the skin tone with a light gray.
I then added the pointy pieces of paper to make the fangs.

I hade the Flying skull  stamped out also so I colored that with some purple and grays and I made it into a head piece for my vampire. You can't see in the photo but I added shimmer to the wings of the Flying skull . I also added to little stones to the wings of it.
Next I just layered it with some scrap paper and some Halloween paper for the card base. Add in some Halloween goodies and you have your Vampire head card.
