Ribbon or twine challenge.

A new challenge over at The Male Room blog starts today. Ribbon or twine. Here is my card I made for it.

I started out with a Kraft tag that I used some drown distress ink on. I then stamped the ruler with some versafine clair drown ink.

Ater that was dry I took my guy and stamped him on the tag. I then colored him with colored pencils. I forgot how fun-colored pencils are. Then I took a grungy circle stamp and stamped it randomly on around the background and then I added my twine to the top of the tag.

I then added the tag and a black strip of cardstock to a green pattern paper and then added some washi tape to the side.

I hope to see you over at The Male Room blog challengeThe Male Room blog challenge.

Stripes and/ or Dots challenge

Hello all, there is a new challenge starting over at The Male Room blog. It's stripes and / or dots challenge

I started off with making the background. I had a piece of cardstock leftover that had some numbers stenciled on it with green ink and then I added some blue and gray inks to it.

Then I add some circles with a cap from a spray bottle in that same blue. Next, I took the distress oxide ink of the same blue and stamped out the dots up one side of the paper. After that I took a white gel pen and drew some circles and added dot to the inside and outside of the circles.

I then die cut a circle and stamped the deer skull with a tie in black ink inside. Glued it to the front and that is my card.

Shaker card

Hello, today starts a new challenge for The Male Room blog. Shaker card. I decided to make a flat shaker.

I started off making the background with watercolor paper and blues and greens in distress ink.

Set that aside to stamp out the guy in airplane from Katzelkraft and die cut some clouds. I colored the guy in with copic markers and then cut out, I edged the clouds with some gray ink.

To make a flat shaker I used some old plastic from packaging and taped all 4 sides on the pack with some red liner tape. I then folded over the plastic in 3 of the sided. I left the top open and I added my shaker bits. When I was happy with what I had in there I closed the top one.

Lastly, I placed the clouds and the airplane guy on the top of the front shaker.

Stencil or Die challenge

Hello all, today we have a new challenge of at The Male Room blog. You have to use a stencil or a die. For me I used both.

I started out with some black cardstock and a stencil from Tim Holtz. Also, some white ink. I used a sponged to add the ink through the stencil. To my surprise the white ink didn't fade back like most of them do.
Then I grabbed a scrap of distress smooching I had done a while ago and had in my 'just in case' pile and added that to the front. I stamped the steampunk bug on white cardstock and cut out. I added that to the front of the card and Lasty I added some steampunk gears to the strip of distress cardstock I added so it would tie in together.

Happy Sheepmas

Hello I have made a Christmas card from stamps from Topflight Stamps. The minute I saw these stamps I knew I just needed them. They are so funny.

I stamped and colored with Copic markers. Cut down to fit the card. I also added some gold stickles to the goat's sweater. Layer it on some plaid Christmas paper and then add on Kraft cardstock.
