Universe challenge

 Good morning to you all. Today starts a new challenge over at The Male Room blog. Universe challenge. I decided to make some bookmarks.

 I had so much fun making these I made 3. I stared off all of them in the same way, I stamped my image and then I put masking fluid on all of the images and let it dry. I did it this way because I did want to fussy cut out all 3 of the images to make masks. 

This one is my favorite. I started out with 5 different colors of distress inks. A pink, blue, yellow, green and a purple. I added them too different parts of the background. I did the same for all 3 of the bookmarks.

I then added black distress ink to the bookmarks in the spaces that I didn't add any of the color. Next, I added some water drops to make layers. 

After that I added some white splatter for the stars in my galaxy. I then took off the masking fluid and layered the bookmarks on white cardstock.

Moonlit Trees

 Good morning. I have a new challenge for you today. It is trees and it's over at The Male Room blog.

This was a fun card to make. I started out with some blue cardstock and some blue distress ink. I smooshed them on my craft mat and did a splatter background.

Next, I edged it in some black ink and added some to the bottom of the page. 

After I did that, I stamped different trees all along the bottom of the card expect the tall skinny ones. I then stamped and colored and cut out the moon.

I added the tall skinny trees after I added the moon.

Magickial card starters

Hello all I have some Magickal card starters for you today. The stamps are all from Lavinia Stamps. They are a stamp company from the UK. I get my stamps from Topflight stamps or Lavinia world.

The first 2 are done on watercolor paper and using Distress Oxide sprays and Distress Spray stains for the background.

 This last one was with Distress Oxide pads for the background.

 On the Lavinia FB group someone changed there card they made with a filter to monochrome. So I wanted to give it a try. That is what this last one is.

Moonlight and Magic

Hello all I have some Moonlight and Magic for you today.  I have made 3 digital postcards.

 For this one I started out with the Timeless paper and then I added  a image from Moonlight Magic and as I was doing this it gave me a feel of a vintage movie poster. So I added some beads on top and a movie ticket and advert.(well I think it is a advert) Next I added a pen with some ink scribbles and extra stars(because you can never have to many) Then  I added a moon from Frightful Delightful kit and a saying that fit for the piece and lastly I added a glittery border.

 Started off with a sky type background paper. Then I added a image from Moonlight Magic.  I picked one that blended in with the paper. With Moonlight Magic you have so many great choices to pick from. Next I took Scripted ATC and took away the background and just left the words and change the color to a light blue and added here and there. More stars is the next to the top and bottom corners. Then I took a banner and added the words from the Title of the Moonlight Magic to the banner.

 Last one I have done.  This one I wanted it to have a mixed media feel to it. With this one also I got a sky like paper to start. Then I took a image from Moonbeams.  Added my stars and then some circles and dots. I then added a image from Midnight Magic and the saying from Moonbeams.  Lastly I added a crow and feathers to the corner.

Singing Brunhilda

Hello all I have a card for you that I made with Lost Coast Design Stamps new stamps. As I was making it all I was thinking of Looney Tunes cartoon with Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny and them singing the Opera. Tell me what you think if you see it.

SSS: Starry night 

Kitty behind the curtain

Hello all in blog land. I'm here with a card I made for Lost Coast Designs challenge. Stamped backgrounds is what it is called. You can check out some of the backgrounds here or here for your ATCs or here for some Carmen's Verandas backgrounds.

I started off with some watercolor paper and I took my Nuance powers and made them into a watercolor and painted a "sky"  background.  I set that aside to dry and I worked on the cat image. It is  Curtain Cat from KatzelKraft. Lost Coast Designs is carrying some.

I had it already stamped out and colored on a different piece of cardstock. I had stamped a saying and I smudged the ink on it so I couldn't use it for what I wanted but I didn't want to throw the card away. We all know what I'm talking about right.

Next I cut out the curtain cat and edged it with black marker so you don't see the white edge from cutting out. Added glossy accents to eyes because they need to be glossy. Set that aside to dry and then I went back to the watercolor sky.

 

 

 

 

 

So I grabbed my Flying Birds background stamp and stamped it on my watercolor sky background.

Then I adhered the curtain cat to the side of the card.   

The I took a circle and painted it some of the Nuance powers to make a moon and attached to the top of the card.

All put together. I hope to see your creation with stamped backgrounds.
