Tag

Hello all. I'm happy to announce I'm part of The male room blog design team. The challenge is Tag.

So, I started off with a #8 white tag. I used Distress Oxide sprays on the background. In iced spruce, rusty hinge and antique linen. Sprayed and dipped the tag to make the background and when there were areas that were not drying, I decided to get out my gold embossing power and cover the spots with it.

Next, I grabbed a Dina Wakley and a aall& Create stamp and stamped them randomly over the background in brown and black ink. I then stamped the main image from Lost Coast designs on white cardstock and cut out.
I then grabbed some Tim Holtz ephemera bits and added it to the tag. I added some string and the main image to the bottom of the tag.

Take the plunge

Hello and good evening to you. Today is a very hot day where I am. So, what could be better than a nice cool beach themed card.

I'm happy to share my first card for the Fox and Found studio Design Team.

                                                   Collage Sheets Used:

                                                  Vintage Airmail labels

                                                   Vintage 1950 bathers

                                                   Vintage fish

I cut out an envelope from the Vintage Airmail labels and then used a circle stencil and some blue ink I added 'bubbles' on the sides of the envelope. Next, I glued it to the front of a kraft card base.

I cut out a lady from Vintage 1950 bathers and I added some pink glitter circles to her bathing suit. I then added her to the front of the envelope. I cut out some fish from the    Vintage fish and decided where I wanted them and glued them down. Lastly, I cut out a saying from the     Vintage 1950 bathers and added it to the front of the card. I did then add white striped to the straps of her suit.

Coffee cup card

 Coffee card for you.

Stamps used:
I started out with a coffee cup to go die. Cut it out of white cardstock. Colored the background with different colors of purple from the Distress line. (all the purples)
Next I stamped Front sign gnome on scrap white cardstock and colored him in with Copic markers. I wrote the work Coffee on his sign. I must say I amazed my self that I didn't mess that part up. I cut him out.
I cut the lid from black cardstock and white heat embossed the Corner swirl randomly on the lid.
I then took that same Corner swirl and stamped it in black on the coffee cup.
Lastly I glued the lid on and the Front sign gnome

I hope you like my coffee card I made for you. Come join the fun with your make here.
Don't forget there is a sale going on.

Paper Wooden Heart

Hello I'm here with a Blank Page Muse February's new Challenge. Blue hearts and time.
Stamps used: Steampunk Pocket watch with wings
Other Supplies used:
Leftover paper scraps
Wooden heart
Tissue paper
Cardstock
Matte gel medium
Marker
Saying sticker

First I took some scrap paper and tore them up to little pieces and glued them onto the wooden heart with matte gel. Good way to use up your scraps of paper we all have laying around.
This is how the heart came out after I glued the pieces and trimmed the paper.
Next I stamped the Steampunk Pocket watch with wings on tissue paper and glued it to the heart.
Then I added word sticker and then the black dots around the heart. Also I edged the heart with the black marker.
Then I put a strip of black cardstock down the middle and attached the heart to the card.

Mirror paper and Alcohol inks

So I just love this idea that I saw over at Silverwolf  Cards. She took mirror cardstock and added Alcohol inks to it. So you all know we have a stash of the cardstock and we all have AI. So here is m scan of what I did. You can't tell it is mirror because of it being scanned but you get the Idea. Thank You Silverwolf Cards.
The first one is the second one I did. That one I used blending solution with my AI.
