Watchful Raven
Hello all I'm here with a Lost Coast Portal blog challenge. Tweet this is what it is called.
Next I used the flying birds background stamp. The stamp is very large. So I cut one of the birds from the corner of the stamp so I could have a single stamp. You can't even tell it is missing when you stamp the whole background. I used that single stamp and stamped around the Goth Raven. Then I glued the raven to the front and there we have the card I made.
I started out with a A2 size white cardstock and grabbed some of my Distress Oxide inks. I did the smooching technique with the inks.
Next I used the Goth Raven stamp and stamped it out on white cardstock. I stamped the branch 2 more times to give the branch longer area to go off the card. I colored it in with Copic markers. Then I glued a eye to the raven. Why? Because he sees all the other birds flying around him.

Do Not Enter
Hello all. I'm here with a Blank Page Muse challenge. Emboss any way.
I started out with some brown cardstock and I used Tim Holtz 3D embossing woodgrain fades.
Next I used Tim Holtz planks die and cut blanks of wood out from the embossed cardstock.
I then added distress inks around the edges to make them more darker in color.
Here is a closer look at one of them.
I then started working on my background. I took another Tim Holtz embossing fades (brick wall) and some gray cardstock and some distress ink colors and made a background.
Next you start building a boarded up wall/window with your wood embossed planks. I used mini brads 'nails' to hold the planks in place.
On a white scrap piece of paper I stamped the corner spider web from Halloween on a shelf set. It was to bright on this card so I added some gray and black distress ink to it to make it darker. Then I added the spider from that same stamp set to the middle of the web.
Then on some more scrap white cardstock I stamped Silhouette style bare tree. I fussy cut out some parts of the tree because I wanted it to look like it was getting overgrown with the tree branches growing out from the behind the wood planks.

Yellow Buddha tag
Hello all over at Lost Coast Designs Portal blog the challenge is Yellow and Orange. I must say this was a tuff one for me.
This is what I came up with. A yellow and orange Buddha tag. I started off by painting the tag with a soft yellow and a soft orange. I set aside to dry.
I can't wait to see what you come up with for this Challenge.
This is what I came up with. A yellow and orange Buddha tag. I started off by painting the tag with a soft yellow and a soft orange. I set aside to dry.
As that was drying I got out a die and cut out some hanging vines from yellow cardstock and I add some orange distress ink to it.
After the tag was dry I took out my Asian Set of stamps. I started stamping the words randomly over the tag in orange and yellow distress ink.
Next I took the bamboo stamp from that set and stamped it on the bottom of the tag with orange distress ink.
Then I stamped the Buddha with orange distress ink again from that same stamp set on the same yellow cardstock that I used for the vine die. Cut out the Buddha and added it to the bottom the I added the vines to the top and that is my yellow and orange tag for this challenge.I can't wait to see what you come up with for this Challenge.
