Sunny Beach tag
Hello all. It is almost Summer here. The weather is already in the 80s to 90s so Mother Nature is saying Go To The Beach.
Guess what that is what the theme for the new challenge over at Blank Page muse blog is for this month. Let's go to the Beach.
Stamped used:
Mountains and Beach set.
Flamingo row of dancing flamingos
Embossing Power:
Ancient Amber
Other supplies used:
#10 tag
Watercolor
Copic Markers
Distress ink
Glossy accents
ribbon and charm.
I started out with the tag and stamped the beach house(stand) on the tag. Then I colored it in with Copic markers. Next I grabbed a scrap piece of paper and stamped it again and cut out to make a mask of it.
Added the mask to the tag and stamped the palm tree from that set behind the house. Then I colord the tree with copic markers.
Next I took the Ancient Amber embossing power and added it to the bottom of the tag. I think it looks like sand.
I stamped the seagull and the sun from the beaches and mountains stamp set . Colored in with Copic markers and added glossy accents to the sun

Then I took a blue watercolor and colored the whole background of the tag. I set that aside to dry. As that was drying I stamped the row of flamingos on a pink sheet of paper. I cut one out. As I was cutting it out the leg came off so now it is a sitting flamingo.
I stamped the seagull and the sun from the beaches and mountains stamp set . Colored in with Copic markers and added glossy accents to the sun
I added the Hawaii travel poster to the tag and the Sunny Days word stamp from the set.
Last I added a ribbon and charm to the top of the tag. I say the tag is beach ready would you?

Bookmarks
Well today I have made some bookmarks for your viewing pleasure. 3 total I have made for Lost Coast Designs new challenge "mini me" anything smaller than a card. Well mine are longer than a card but definably smaller so they still count...
To start out I did the backgrounds all the same. The first 2 I used Distress inks and the smooching technique. The last one I used Distress Oxide inks and the smooching technique.
The one above I used pinks and oranges colors in inks on white cardstock. Then I stamped Katzelkraft monsters all over the edges of the bookmark. Next I stamped the saying from Carmen's Veranda Currently Unsupervised cut it down to just 2 words and glued it to the bookmark. When that was done I added it to some black cardstock to it. I did that to all 3 of my bookmarks. After I did that I laminated it. I also did this to all 3 of the bookmarks.
So for this on I used blues and greens of the inks. Next I stamped a small butterfly from the Bugz set. I felt it still needed more so I grabbed my number border stamp and stamped that randomly on it. As I said I did the same to all 3 of how I finished them.
Last one I did. This one I used the Distress Oxide inks for it. For this one I used another Katzelkraft stamp that Lost Coast Designs is selling. It is called Hanging branch cat. I stamped it at the top of the bookmark. Next I stamped the tree crown on the top of the bookmark to it looks like trees and leaves.
Then I grabbed a saying sticker and added to the bottom. Lastly I added some stars with a stencil and regular distress ink.
