Wolf Queen ATC

So I  haven't made a ATC in a very long time. Once I saw Wolf Queen I knew She had to be made into a ATC.
So I stamped her on  Copic friendly white cardstock. Colored her in with Copic markers. Okay first for me. I did a darker color skin tone. I really like how it came out. Next I stamped Wolf Queen on scrap and colored wolf head and feathers and cut out and used foam squares to pop it up. I also offset the feathers to look like there is more.
Then I put some purple distress ink on a craft mat and took a water brush and painted around the image. Used a white pebeo marker and did the beads coming down with it and the center of the flower in her hair.
Thanks for visiting.  I hope you feel inspired you to get out your woman themed stamps and join our challenge.  You have until the end of the month and someone will be the lucky winner of some Lost Coast dollars.

Dragon Queen

I'm here with a fun I am woman card for the Lost Coast Portal Challenge.
I started out a Copic friendly white cardstock. I stamped Mother of Dragons with black ink. This stamp makes me think of that show on that network with the Mother of Dragons.  I bet you all know the one I'm talking about. Anyway.......
I colored it in with Copic markers. Looking at it now I should have added some glossy accents to the eggs. (idea for next time)

As you can see I layered it on black cardstock. I think doing this makes your image that you colored pop.
Next I layered it on a watercolor paper leftover I used to clean up my leftover Nuance and Distress Oxide inks.
I stamped ATC Gothic Text randomly on that watercolor card.
Then I layered it all on a gray card base and I called it done.

Indulge you imagination

A card I made for the Color Play over at Blank Page Muse.
I started with some white cardstock and I painted it with Turquoise paint.
Next I took sliver paint and a sponge and sponged it on.
Let the paints dry. This is how they came out.
I used this on my New Year's Party Crown so if you think you saw it before you did. I really like how the colors came out.
So I cut it down to fit on a A2 size card.
I took some sliver paint and put it on my craft mat and took ink blending sponge and the Chicken Wire Mesh stamp and inked it up and stamped it onto the panel in random spots.
With the left over ink I edged the panel
Next I took the Old Style Key with Wings and stamped around the edge with black ink.

For my main image I used Steampunk Airship Sail and Clocks and stamped it on white Copic friendly paper.
I then cut it out and colored with a gray(sliver-ish) marker. I added sparkle to the sail. Then I added some sliver sparkle washi tape to the polls on the ship.

I added wings to the ship by cutting of the wings from Steampunk Pocket Watch with Wings. Added foam squares to the back and added to the middle.
Then I added a strip of sliver sparkle washi tape to the bottom and stamped a sentiment on a piece of scrap white cardstock and cut out an added it to the bottom card on top of the washi tape.
Put it on a black card base.

Raven Doodles

Oodles of Doodles over at the Lost Coast Portal this challenge. So here is my take on it.
I made this card using stencil and stamps and a ink pad or two.
Here is a close up of the stencil and corner swirl stamp I used.
What I did was take a white cardstock and a circle stencil (I used Tim Holtz).
Tape it down over the cardstock and pick your color of ink. (I used my favorite color purple)
I used Distress ink for this because it is easy to blend. I took the corner swirl stamp and stamped it over the stencil. Next I took the blender and the leftover ink on the stencil and blended it into the circles. So you have the dark ink from the stamp and the lighter ink from the blending.
Next I took the Raven right small and black ink and stamped it in the middle(ish) of the paper.
Last I took the Farting Unicorn saying under the Raven.
Added it to a black card base and I was done.

Hello There Cathy N here with a quick idea for this month's challenge at blank page muse . The challenge is color play: turquois, sliver and sparkle...
I started out with a scrap sheet of watercolor paper and painted in the turquois and sliver colors
Next I stamped chicken wire stamp, Olde Tyme HandsOld style key with top hat(didn't ink the hat part) , small wavy flourish and border stamp
To make the card I just cut a strip of the paper I made and added it to a white card front. Next I stamped feathered pair of wings on black cardstock and embossed in white. Then I stamped the dress form and colored it with distress inks then I added sparkle to it.

New Year's Party Crown

I have a New Year's Party Crown idea for you.
Over at Blank Page Muse blog the theme is Color Play. What colors you might ask? Turquoise, sliver and sparkle.
I first started out with some white cardstock and painted it with some turquoise paint. Let dry or hit it with a heat gun.
Next I took sliver paint and a sea sponge and sponged it all over the cardstock. Let that dry.
Here is what it looks like after I was done.
Next I took small sunflower blossom stamp quite a few times on the paper and I cut them out. I edged them with a black marker so you don't see the white edges on it.
After I cut them out I took some art wire and wrapped it around a pen to make the spiral and attached the blossom to the top and taped the other end inside the crown.
Last I took one  blossom and cut it in half and added it to the front of the crown.

What a fun way to start 2018.
