Day 30 of 31 days of Halloween

It started out as a box that had a pair of headphones in it.
Here is the front cover.
Frist I covered the whole box with black gesso. Next I painted the whole box with black plaint that I mixed in some antique effect. (you can kinda see it in the next photo)
I stamped the small skeleton on white paper. Tore around it and edged with brown ink. Added splashes of orange, brown and gray to skeleton. Added a rub-on. Raised it up with foam dots.  Distressed the edges of pattern paper and edged with the same brown ink. Then I added washi tape and layers of ephemera.
On the side you need to open. I added the same distressed pattern paper and edged with the same brown ink. I used the rustic alphabet set. Stamped out OPEN and cut out and inked the sides with brown ink.
On the other side I used the same paper and distressed it the same way and I took the small skeleton and just stamped the head 8 times and cut out and added it down the side.
Back cover. Same paper, same distress. Added a large piece of  ephemera to the middle. I then stamped flying skull 3 times on white paper. Colored the skull with a cream colored marker and cut out. Glued in place.

Inside.
I took some pattern paper and did the left side of the box. Edged with brown ink. For my scene inside the box I took a sheet of watercolor paper and cut it to fit in the inside of the box. I made the sky background using nuance powers. Once that was dry I took a stencil and added some stars with white ink. Next I stamped the small skeleton 2 times on scrap white paper. Fussy cut out one. Covered edge with black marker. glued him to back. Next I did some die cutting and made the grave yard scene.

Last I fussy cut the hand and part of the arm and stuck it coming out of a grave.
Done.

Day 27 of 31 days of Halloween

Day 27
Here is a cute card I made for Halloween.
First I die cut the insta photo die out of ivory cardstock. Stamped isle of aud animals. I picked the giraffe out of this set but I think any of them would look cute in this. In the die set it had a witches hat and I knew the giraffe had to have it. Cut that out of black and yellow cardstock and glued it to the top of the giraffes head.
Next I took my Copic markers in Halloween colors and dotted around the giraffe.
Then I edge the frame with brown distress ink. Stuck a word sticker on the front of it. Taped the inside down, used foam squares on the frame to give it height.

Day 26 of 31 days of Halloween

Almost All Hallows Eve.
I have a card to share with you today.

This is a fun and messy card to make.
I started of with my flying skull stamp. I stamped it with Versafine ink 3 times on my white card.
Next I put white embossing power over the 3 flying skull images. Heat embossed them.
Next I picked out some Halloween colors of Distress ink.
I took a piece of plastic and smooched one color on it. Sprayed it with a little water and smooched it on top of the card. Did the same thing for the rest of the colors till I was happy how the card looked.
wiped the ink off the embossed skulls. Then I dried it with my heat gun.

Day 21 of 31 days of Halloween

I made a card for today and who better for a Halloween Card then
Alfred Hitchcock

So I started off stamping Alfred Hitchcock on a white cardstock panel . Next I stamped him again on a scrap of copy paper and made a mask. Cut out and covered. Next I took the flying birds background and stamped only on one side of the card panel.  Edged the panel with red distressed ink. Last I took the drips  stamp and stamped it in the same red I used to ink the edge and stamped the top of the red card with it. That is my card for today. I hoped you will join in our Halloween and Animal challenge and event we have going on.

Day 16 OF 31 days of Halloween

I decided to make a banner. This is a easy banner to make. Frist off I got the banner from a store. Mine I picked up at Target in the dollar area.
Then I had a plan in mind. I wanted to use the small skeleton on the panels of the banner. When I opened up the banner I saw that there was 3 different sizes of panels. That is when I saw my small skeleton would not fit on all the panels. So I grabbed my flying skull to use on my smaller panels.

So I stamped the small skeleton 4 times on white card stock. Cut out. Then I glued on panel.
Then I skipped a panel.
I didn't take a photo of the blank panel.

Next I stamped flying skull 3 times on white cardstock and cut out. Then I glued on panel
All done.
Hang where you want.
Come check out what my other DT from  Lost Coast/Carmen's Veranda have made so far. Also come join the fun over at the Portal and have a chance to win some stamps of your own?

Day 6 of 31 days of Halloween hop Frank's memories

Day 6 of Halloween blog hop. Today you get Cathy. That's me.
I made this card to share with you all today. I call it Frank's memories. I started out with a black card base. Next I stamped Gothic ATC text    on different spots on the card with white ink. Then I grabbed a Tim Holtz Halloween stencil (skull crossbones is the one I used) . Again I used white ink and added it through the stencil. I then took a evidence tag I got and filled it out added water to it crinkled it up. Dried it with a heat gun. Distressed the edges added brown ink to them.  Got a poison label and inked the edges of that with brown ink. Set all aside, I stamped Frank on copic friendly paper and colored him in with copic markers. Cut him out and edged with black marker so you don't see white around the edge.
Now I assemble the card. Added the poison label to the card. I took the tag and added the charm and the string and added foam squares to the back to raise it up next I added Frank. Using foam squares on him also. Last I edged the card with white ink to tie it all together.
The complete list of participants in the hop is shown on the sidebar.
Don't forget to leave us a little love so we know you dropped by.  We also have loads of chances to win Lost Coast dollars. Link up your projects to these fun challenges
