Forest God Card

Hello, I'm here with a card for you today using Lost Coast stamps.

Stamps Used:

I started out with some watercolor paper. I stamped Forest God Square in the middle of the paper and I did try to heat emboss it with black embossing power but I was to slow, so only some of it got embossed.
I then stamped randomly a stamp from the Pieces of Calligraphy around the Forest God Square.
To color it in I used the new Tim Holtz watercolor pencils. It was my first time using them. The are fun to use and easy. I just colored the paper and used a water brush to blend the colors.
Mounted it on some orange cardstock because I splattered some orange in the background. Added some white highlights around the Forest God Square stamp and last I added it to a black card base.

Hello, I'm one of the new Design Team members at Viva Las VegaStamps. I'm so happy. To start off my first post I have a card for you all.

I stared out with a tag and some purple Distress ink. I did the smooching technique with the ink and a glass mat.

After I got the tag where I liked the color, I then die cut 3 feathers from it.

I then stamped grunge 1787 writing background on the feathers. For the card background I did the say smooching technique but with gray Distress ink.  I stamped the waybill with black soot Distress ink on the background and inked the edges of the card panel.

Lastly, I glued 2 feathers down and I tied a bow on the 3rd one and added foam tape and placed it in the middle.

Sketch Challenge

Hello and good morning. Today we have a new challenge over at The Male Room blog. It is a sketch challenge.

I started off with one of Tim Holtz's die. I didn't know what one I was going to use of the paper, so I decided to use both. I stamped the Kraft inside design with a word stamp from Lost Coast design. I then took the black cardstock and glued it to the top of the white card base. I then filled in with the Kraft.

Next, I stamped the croc man also from Lost Coast design on the bottom and colored him with copic markers.  I then added a sentiment sticker next to him.

Nature

Hello and Happy February. Today, I have a card for the new challenge over at The Male Room blog. The theme is Nature.

I started out with a stencil and some gray distress ink. I blended over the stencil in different spots on the card front. I then took a foliage stamp from Tim Holtz and stamped it a few times on the top of the card with black ink.

I then took the tree stamp from Lavinia stamps and stamped it in the middle of the card. Next, I took the tree stamp and turned it upside down so I could use just the top of the tree to fill in the gaps.

Lastly, I took a fox stamp from Lavinia stamps and stamped it at the edge of the card. I edged the whole card with black ink.
